AVIONICA USA
We are a group of professionals in the field of new generation of aircraft technology known as Avionics Technician Association of Orlando, Inc. Also known as Avionica USA. Since 1991, we have experience in the military field, commercial, civil, corporate and sport aviation.
Our resources come from the Boeing, United States Air Force (USAF), US Navy (USN), Puerto Rico National Guard (PRNG), Eastern Airlines, and NASA. We have organized under the laws of Florida, with a commitment to bring together professionals in the field of aviation electronics. We train our partners in the new technology and develop new talents who assist in the search for new and better employment opportunities.

Also known as Avionica Puerto Rico, our mission is to train the next generation of avionics technicians through high-quality, hands-on education. Since 1991, we have built extensive experience serving the military, commercial, civil, corporate, and general aviation sectors. Our instructional team brings experience from organizations such as Boeing, the United States Air Force (USAF), the United States Navy (USN), the Puerto Rico National Guard (PRNG), Eastern Airlines, and NASA. This industry background enables us to provide training that reflects the highest standards of the aviation industry.
Our commitment is to prepare students for successful careers in aviation by developing the skills needed to read and interpret aircraft blueprints, understand aircraft electrical, electronic, and communication systems, and perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures in accordance with industry standards. Our goal is to graduate highly qualified professionals who are ready to enter the workforce and contribute to the continued growth of the aviation industry.

CONTINUING EDUCATION
In 2016, Avionica established a partnership with the University of Central Florida’s Division of Continuing Education to develop and deliver an Avionics Technician Training Program. This successful collaboration continued for more than eight years and helped prepare students for careers in the aviation industry by providing hands-on technical training aligned with industry needs and FAA standards. Throughout this partnership, Avionica built a strong professional relationship with the University of Central Florida, reflecting our long-standing commitment to delivering high quality aviation training and workforce development.
In 2016 Avionica partnered with the University of Central Florida’s Division of Continuing Education to offer a three-month avionics technician training program starting January 2017. Graduates are prepared to work in the aviation industry and meet an urgent need to equip aircraft with the technology necessary to comply with the latest Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements.

OUR MISSION
The aviation industry approaches our association seeking the avionics personnel trained by Avionica USA to work in companies as an FCC Licensed Avionics Technician. Our main goal is to provide training to the community of the United States, so they can satisfy the need for avionics technicians in the aviation and related industries.
JOBS OPPORTUNITIES
AND EXPERIENCE
Avionics Technicians install, inspect, test, adjust or repair avionics equipment such as radar, radio, navigation, and missile control systems in aircraft or space vehicles.
- Our training includes job placement training and resume assistance.
- On the Job Training (OJT) experience with our own FAA Certified Repair Station, Avionics NavComm Services.
An average hourly salary of $31.41 hr. by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States.
